About Co-Packer Index

Co-Packer Index exists because finding a contract manufacturer that will take a small first run is absurdly hard: certification registries are authoritative but user-hostile, directories are pay-to-play, and almost nobody states their minimums up front.

What we do

We compile a facts-only index of US and Canadian contract manufacturers and co-packers for supplements and beauty / personal care, and we put the three facts a small brand actually needs on every profile:

• the minimum order quantity the manufacturer itself publishes, banded and dated, marked unverified until confirmed;
• the certification stack, checked against the issuing bodies' own public listings every month;
• a monthly FDA status check against the public Warning Letters database and openFDA enforcement reports, with the government source linked.

What we don't do

No star ratings. No editorial reviews. No "best of" opinions — every ordering rule is a published formula on our methodology page. No lead selling. No pay-for-rank: claiming a listing buys verification and visibility features, never position.

Who we are

Co-Packer Index is a small independent data team. We build polite crawlers, reconcile public records, and re-check everything monthly. We are not brokers, we take no commissions from manufacturers or brands, and we are not affiliated with NSF, SQF, BRCGS, the USDA, or the FDA — their marks identify the public listings we reference, nothing more.

Corrections

If a fact on your profile is wrong, use the correction page. It is free, it does not require claiming the listing, and removal requests from verified company representatives are honored promptly.
